Common Juniper
(Juniperus communis)
The common juniper, Juniperus communis, is an evergreen conifer tree that can grow up to 10 meters high and can live for as long as 200 years. The tree’s bark is grey-brown while the twigs of the tree are reddish brown. The fruit is a berry-like cone that is fleshy and aromatic. Whether in herbal medicine, aromatherapy or gemmotherapy, the blue-black berries are considered to be a great support for the liver and, even more so, for the kidneys.
It is an active ingredient in our Product Name.
From India
The juniper is a European tree that can be seen at high altitudes, up to 2500 m. However, in these icy habitats, it can only survive if it is stunted, twisted and bent close to the ground.
