Ginger

(Zingiber officinale)

Ginger, native to India, thrives in warm, tropical areas throughout Asia. Each year, ginger’s branches regrow, supported by a robust, fleshy rhizome often referred to as “a hand.” The plant has two types of stalks: tall ones (1.5 meters) for nutrient assimilation and shorter ones (20 cm) for reproduction. Its evergreen leaves are long, aromatic, and arranged in two rows, while the flowers are white and yellow with red edging.

Ginger essential oil is a powerful aid for the entire digestive system. It stimulates the liver, stomach, and intestines with vigor, making it an excellent remedy for numerous digestive issues. It is an active ingredient in our Travel Sickness Roll On where it relieves nausea and vomiting by calming the stomach and intestines.
